Being the one who knows, who succeeds, who never disappoints. We sometimes learn to play a role so long that it finally seems to us to be our nature. I call "character" this built image that we seek to defend before others, and before ourselves.
It is not a question of hating this character. It may have been a protection. Exploration consists in noting when it takes all the place: when one speaks to impress, when one accepts to be loved, when one no longer authorizes himself to say "I don't know". Seeing this movement gives a possibility for a freer answer.
